Let’s hide the update notice in administration!
Maybe I could bring up one short explaining example… for some projects I use localized (czech) version of WordPress and this modification is not prepared immediately after each official release. Sometimes I must wait a few days, sometimes a week. And during this waiting I have the notice…
A new version of WordPress is available! Please update now.
… before my eyes. I don't care sometimes about official releases. To see or not to see the notice? You can surely find another possible reasons why to use my hider. It's a plug-in, just activate it.

Nice one. I don't want my clients to be worried by the notice or to attempt an upgrade themselves. This is perfect.

Found you on Google… I'm staying with WP 2.7.1 at the moment for plugin compatibility reasons, and this is just what I needed to stop my clients getting worried! Thanks very much for sharing.
I quit working with WordPress, comments are closed. My plugins will not be updated any more – at least not by me. Feel free to modify my source codes though… Also I am not able to provide support, sorry. –Kahi
