I can manage to get all left column functions working / hidden, but other columns in your tool which control dashboard elements (like the wordpress news) do not work i.e. do not get hidden from users.

Could you help?

It seems the plugin isn't working wtih 2.8. It produces an error after you save "Options.php not found". I read that this is due to the new security model where everything has to be done through "register_setting()" http://planetozh.com/blog/2009/05/handling-plugins-options-in-wordpress-28-with-register_setting/

Maybe its something different on my end?
